    P0700 and P1776

Checked all connection and couldnt find anything. Reset the codes to double check before dropping the pan to replace switch. Drove some errands this weekened multiple stops and 40 miles later code hasnt come back. Best guess high brush nocked one of the connections enough to interupt reading and...

    P0700 and P1776

2003 automatic 205k ATF level is good and like new from when I relaced it last year. Had check engine light come on and OD read p0700. Got home and used code reader and pulled code p1776. This has never came on before. I rarely ever put the TJ in 4WD. I was out scouting in the woods today and...

How to flush the automatic transmission on your Jeep Wrangler TJ

Yes you will have atf fluid going everywhere thats why the write up says to use a 5 gallon bucket. Go to begging of thread and read entire write up. Skim commets after that and you will know eveything you need too. Its pretty detailed you just have to read it.

How to flush the automatic transmission on your Jeep Wrangler TJ

For me flushing is the easy part compaired to just doing the filter so I always do both. I just check mine when I do oil change. When I notice the red color dissappears I change it.

I had to do mine that way as I blew a bunch out on floor and couldnt measure, so what came out was irrelevant as I couldnt measure.

How to flush the automatic transmission on your Jeep Wrangler TJ

Are you sure you got 8 from pan drop? It should be 8.8 total? But if you put 4 in already then flush with 12 that would equal 16. Think you are starting to way over think it. Why would you flush with more than you need? I get it but its forcing old out first and what little is left is negligible...

    Vibration from 55-60 MPH

Been there done that. If you have uneven tire wear and bad balance it can feel like the wrangler is about to rip appart. New tires and balance with frequent rotation and balance and no issues since.

Buy them both. You can match them up when you take them out. On the bottom side one is hollow the other has a small hole.

How to flush the automatic transmission on your Jeep Wrangler TJ

Ok so I followed the instructions and had the same issue as a couple of other people ATF all over the floor. The fluid runs from passanger side hose into passanger side of radiator. If you disconnect that and attach tube to rad the disconected hose blows ATF all over the place. I cleaned the...
