Death wobble, fully rebuilt front end

They have less than 5k miles on them and the weights are literally clean enough to eat off, if the balance was off, wouldnt I experience issues more akin to vibes or constant wandering symptoms?

Death wobble, fully rebuilt front end

Ignore the "current measurement" specs for the rear above, rear wasnt adjusted and the result shown is from when they took the sensors off the jeep already

Death wobble, fully rebuilt front end

So I've got this jeep that I've had for about two years now, did pretty much everything frame down fresh, new axles, new steering, new trackbar, the whole 9 yards. Its probably easier for me to list what I haven't changed. Basically the only parts that arent fresh are the axle side lower control...

Body mount bolt seized in sleeve

Really appreciate the great idea. Issue im facing now is that new bolt doesn't doesnt want to grab specifically in this spot. Threads still seem to be intact, but likely need to be chased. Anyone know the thread and pitch? Reference i've found says 1/2''x13. Is that right?

Body mount bolt seized in sleeve

This ended up working pretty perfectly. I used a pipe wrench to grab onto the sleeve and cranked it free. It unfused from the bolt, dropped out of the way, then I put the pipe wrench on the bolt directly and went to town.

Body mount bolt seized in sleeve

This is a really great idea, exactly the type of answer I was looking for, Ill try this and see if the bolt backs out with the sleeve since they are effectively fused as one unit.

Prior to it snapping, yes I did heat it up :/

Body mount bolt seized in sleeve

Anyone have any suggestions for the best way to remove this body mount bolt? If worse comes to worst, I can completely cut the bolt out and redrill it, the captive nut is semi accessible to me within the tubs channels so I should be able to get a nut on the bolt. However I would prefer to try...

    3D printable pods for 5.25" in-dash speakers

Yes, you have to cut the metal frame. Pretty much gotta get rid of the oval shape of the frame and cut it so the corners of the metal that remains would not jab into the pod. I used a pair of hand shears + plyers for cutting, I preferred to avoid power tools such as a sawzall or jigsaw in that...

Advice requested on Dana 30 high pinion build

Just put a 2nd HP Dana 30 in the front of my 2nd TJ Wrangler. One jeep I built for 33-35s, 3 spd auto. This axle has 4.56 gears, which is "factory" for a 35 inch tire, aggressive for 33 inches. This axle is fairly bare bones, stock shafts, no truss, no sleeves, no gussets, open diff. The other...

    3D printable pods for 5.25" in-dash speakers

Ultimately I think morphing the top right corner in the design is going to work. Seems completely possible... Now just gotta actually modify the files xD

    Sound Bar Speaker Cutout Diameter?

Was doing some speaker research looking for a good candidate for my soundbar, seems like the reason the polks fit without modification is due to their lower than average cutout size of only 5 inches for a 6.5 inch speaker, as seen in the image below.. I've purchased a different brand of 6.5 inch...

    3D printable pods for 5.25" in-dash speakers

Anyone remake the file to fit in tjs with the headlight switch on the kick panel? Looks like its possible if the cad drawing is morphed a bit to get rid of the top right corner on the drivers side. There seems to be plenty of room for the speaker itself in the pod still if this modification were...
