Depends, my spartan is noisy, i put in there to get power to all front wheels so i dont really care what it sounds like, it works. Its been in for 3 years and ive not had any issues or breakages, im on 35s with stock dana 30 shafts and i wheel the rubicon and fordyce trails pretty regularly...

Ive been running 35s on a dana 30 with locked 4.56 gears for 3 years, wheeled the rubicon, fordyce and a few other trails with no issues. Probrably put in chromo shafts when mine finally go and pass on the weak link to the ring gear.

I cut up a roof rack and made mine, i have since got a bumper that carries the spare. Cooler directly behind the seats, camping gear bag behind it and all my tools, spare parts and recovery gear underneath and personal bags behind the seats. So much storage and room now!

Yes mine was tight as well its been in there for 3 years now. They are violent, loud and very effective.

It finally went a week ago, the housing doesnt make me feel too confident either. Im gonna build the spare housing i have and bolt it in place. The right side bearing cap sustained alot of damage. Im installing a 30 spline grizzly and shafts with 4.56 gears.

Fairly certain gapping precious metal plugs ruins them. I never gap them as most of my customers get them for their cars. They should be pre done.

Get a good tutorial, learn how to read the machinists numbers and set em up. Get a book or paper with specs. I learned from a guy that kinda knew how, then refined my skills. Havent blown up a set yet. Currently doing my brothers tj. Probrably my 30 something set. Very rewarding skill set imo.

I believe you will. Not 100 percent though. I do most my wheeling in the spring and fall. Never go up there when events are held.

Awesome, thanks for all the input. It's for a galaxy s9 that I run a bunch of mapping, ham radio, music and obd software on. My actual cell phone is similar to @Plumber1 setup. Hahaha
