    No gas

small movement to make a meager attempt at stickin it to the fuel co's that are stickin it to us right now. if you can avoid it................... no fuel from 6/3-6/5. personally as of late i refuse to support any fuel station stores for anything except the fuel needed for getting to work.

Daily Driver, Go Where I Want To Build

i like your rear body mounts a bit better than what i ended with, mine are more visible from the back end than i'd like. i kept the cross member under the torque box so the finished bumper only sticks back about 1/2 off the tub. it works but it could have been tighter and neater.

    Arizona Rock Crawling Daily Driver

that's the latest rage around here. investment corps buying every thing they can, jackin up cost's for rentals. but TBH it's always been that way here, financial segregation is just as if not more prevalent than racial segregation.

Daily Driver, Go Where I Want To Build

yes my bottom bolts on each side go through it all. armor tub and flat bar. and i also found out a 4" bar won't pass through the box and rather than cut 3ft of it down that 1/4" i made it 2 pieces. i also drilled a couple holes in the valance plate and plug welded the ends of it onto the flat...

Daily Driver, Go Where I Want To Build

i used 4" flat bars that extend from the chopped ends out to support the corners. then used the drilled out plug weld holes to re-weld the corners back to the new backing plates. i'm interested in what y'all do with the body mounts, compared to what i ended up with. the section under the tub...

Daily Driver, Go Where I Want To Build

what you come up with in this instance may be more helpful since it does still incorporate original frame bits, that are gonna face common work around requirements for most interested. i had the luxury of just building where i need things to be. and past the torque box chop (that Blaine was good...

Daily Driver, Go Where I Want To Build

if you're goin far enough, you gotta loose those torque box ends for wheel space. cap the ends tie them back to the tub then move the body mounts in. and stiffen the weak hanging corners. the torque box is not super stout so it needs a bolster (a shim) between the body mount and the body to...

    Nashville TJ's Build - Continued

IDK why a bag would matter but i see debates about them......to me it seems no different than a heavier rated spring and it'd still tow from the hitch with either, they are certainly cheaper that the fancy hitch rig.

    Nashville TJ's Build - Continued

nice little get me there and back outfit. how much tongue weight are you sitting with? the trailer runs what 2300# and the rig is maybe 5K , you got another 2k hiding in the box? i figure i'll be comin in around 2K ish on the trailer and the rig 4500 maybe. 7K ish should put me around 7-900#...

Savvy 3" Lift Kit + UCF Extra Clearance Skid

body lift sure makes some things easier to work on, and it's wheel space that doesn't effect the drivetrain, the height of the body lift could then be subtracted from the spring lift needed to get the desired stance or wheel space. not sure you have much reason to have to mess with motor mounts...
