A mixture of both. When I replaced the steering stabilizer the violent wobble disappeared for a few months. But it has always had a little shimmy when I hit 40mph but occasionally I do get violent uncontrollable death wobble. (Note I have also gotten tires balanced recently)

I got under and my Pitman arm was a little loose and that tightened up the steering and bit but the tie rod ends are cracked and rotted so I figured I’d replace those anyways
