    Front Suspension Bump

Follow what jjvw says. If you need additional bump stop, I have used send cut send to make additional spacers. I believe rock jock offers the lower spacer but it’s 1” think only. Send cut send has a template online for a circle with a hole in the middle, you just have to spec the dimensions so...

JKS vs Currie Front Track Bar

Let me get this correct, your unbiased opinion is based off reviews? If that is truly what you are saying, that has to be one of the more asinine things I’ve read. Read that out loud to yourself a few times

    Midarm and rear outboard question

Quick question regarding out boarding the rear shocks. I noted the midarm because the lack of a track bar. I’m in the process of the rear shock outboard. I’ve have the upper poly towers set to the very back inside of frame. So the upper mounts are where they are gonna be. Im set up with 12”...

    Rear frame coil bucket options

Hey guys, I’m in the process of installing a savvy mid arm along with relocating the rear coil buckets and will be out boarding. I removed my rear upper coil buckets and they are pretty trashed. Lots of corrosion got in the jounce/nut area and I don’t want to reuse them. So I found I think it...

To those that have installed a Savvy Mid Arm, I salute you!

I’m knee deep in installing the mid arm, it’s an amazing kit. Very well thought out and everything fits extremity well! But we all know that! But why I want to tip my hat to those that have gone down this path, is the cutting of all the frame mounts!! Axles, easy peasy, at least I could get...

Savvy Mid Arm Trusses and ARB Lockers

Currently working on install the Savvy Mid Arm, ran into my first issue and wondering what your solutions have been. Had ARB lockers installed by a shop a few year ago and the bulkhead fitting is roughly at the top of both front and rear diff, which does not play nice with the savvy trusses. I...

Removing or relocating grill support strut?

Curious on your guys thoughts about removing or relocating the passenger side grill support strut. Before I get flamed, this is my situation. I have the poison spyder highline fenders in steel, Would’ve loved to snagged some aluminum ones when they were still made, but no dice. The passenger...

TJ vs LJ: a few thoughts

So guys switching to a CJ tailgate on a TJ could also run into issues with those spot welds failing? Since they lose the latching mechanism of a TJ, as the CJ latching is way less robust and doesn’t tie the tailgate in like a TJ.

TJ vs LJ: a few thoughts

When I did have a CJ many moons ago, I remember one time I got stuck on a hill all twisted up, I had to open my tailgate to get some gear, was hard to get the tailgate to open. It was impossible to shut! The tailgate opening was being twisted in a way that the opening was to small to now close...

TJ vs LJ: a few thoughts

Thanks Blaine, I guess I was just curious if you thought tying the C pillars together was a good “fix” for removing the tailgate, or if it could stress that area out even more.

TJ vs LJ: a few thoughts

I run without a tailgate, so I will be keeping eye on this area. I had a CJ7 for years that I beat on without a tailgate and no issues, I know comparing apples and oranges, but now I’m curious how the construction of that area differs. It’s been too long since I’ve had a CJ to compare. On my...

Update, parasitic current fix, impending frame weld

Curious as to why a Hobart 140 wouldn’t work on a frame? Is the frame even .125” wall? Should be able to handle that no problem

    Wanting it bad

As a kid I always loved jeeps! When I turned 16 my parents were going to buy me a car, I had a budget of 1500 bucks, this was back in 93, so wasn’t terrible. I had my eyes set on a friends brother CJ5 on 33” tires and a soft top. I first took it for a test drive, it rode like shit, was loud as...

How do you insure your TJ?

Hagerty is a good option. They will write a custom policy for you. I currently just have full coverage on mine, actually storage coverage at the moment. I don’t drive mine over the winter months so it’s garage kept and I think pay a whopping 10 dollars for storage coverage. I just use a...
