    Anyone into knives?

I carry the ESEE Xancudo in a Jou Fuu pocket sheath anytime in I'm not at work. The S35VN is tough and holds an edge well. I will occasionally carry a Victorinox Swiss Army "Climber" if it's an occasion where a visible knife is less appropriate. I have a Benchmade Bugout I really like also...

    Howling / whining transfer case

It was unfortunately BOTH the transfercase and rear axle. Replacing the rear ring and pinion helped a ton. But the noise was still there and soon, the transfercase quit shifting randomly even after installing a Savvy cable kit and then started making an awful howling noise.

    WranglerFix PCM and HPTuners

The Knocksense took a week long tour of VA but it's here. Jeep is still in the shop so I'm waiting for it to get fixed. I will hopefully get some time to get the wiring figured out soon. Between a couple trips and stuff with/for the family, my time is limited right now.

Is it cheaper to buy an entire LJ soft top from Bestop? (Single Panels Available)

I have the Bestop replacement top on my factory frame. The zipper on the driver's side window lost its lead in ramp piece and is nearly impossible to get started now. I was gonna grab an extra set of windows as spares and have this one repaired. But a set of windows is listed at $429 and an...

Is it cheaper to buy an entire LJ soft top from Bestop? (Single Panels Available)

Is it seriously cheaper to buy an entire LJ soft top from Bestop than to buy the 3 windows by themselves or can I just not work Bestop's website? Also, their chat has been offline every time I've tried to contact them today.

    TerryD's 2006 LJ Rubicon

Well, mine was the first worn boost valve bore he'd ever encountered. He replaced the entire pump, did a transgo boost valve and a new converter where the leak had caused the converter to heat up enough there was heat scaring on the outside of the billet converter. Said he'd done a boost valve...

The Official Tummy Tuck FAQ Thread

Installed the UCF "no body lift" skid last weekend. The transmission mount location is 1 1/4" higher than my OE 2006 skid. With the AFE exhaust, the converter would hit the floor and be lifting the front of the Jeep before the skid hit the frame rails. I trimmed about 1 1/8" out of the...

    TerryD's 2006 LJ Rubicon

Hopefully this is a straight forward, quick rebuild. He fixes it, I write him a check,m and continue to brag about how good he treats me. LOL

    TerryD's 2006 LJ Rubicon

Truck was for warranty work. Converter he put in last year cooked because of a failed boost valve in the pump. Car was a cooked PTO (what Ford calls a AWD unit) and took 12 weeks to get the parts in from Dana/Spicer. So it hasn't been good, money making work for him so far. LOL

    TerryD's 2006 LJ Rubicon

I don't have time to crack the case open myself so it's headed to the transmission shop Friday morning. That dude is probably getting sick of me. I've had my truck, wife's car and now the Jeep with him this year so far. Ugh...

    TerryD's 2006 LJ Rubicon

Looks like the transfer case is done. Was diagnosing it earlier and suddenly it wouldn't shift at all. I rocked the Jeep back and forth in park and in neutral and couldn't get it out of 2hi. Drove it about 5 minutes testing randomly and suddenly it would shift again. Since it would shift, I...
