No problem, thanks for being my lunch break entertainment. Now go break more things so I can watch you fix them!

    Nashville TJ's Build - Continued

Finally at the "end" of this thread, great build! With all the talk about going to bigger and bigger fans I read through, I expect you'll be at this point in a few years ;). It's even yellow!

Did anyone jump on the Motobilt Crusher limited production front bumper order?

Is it just me or is this extremely counterintuitive? From everything I've read you want steel to contact the rocks as it will resist the wear better, it's why @Fluxor provides stainless steel rash guards on his bumpers and sliders. Not to mention the irony of a heavy steel bumper and then...

    Voltage Fluctuating

This happened to me once. Turned out that the positive battery terminal was almost completely cracked through giving it a spotty connection. Cheap and easy fix so I'd check those.

Any reason to not use a new differential gear set twice?

Yep, was just showing the ARB's since it was the easiest way I could think of to show the carrier break of both axles at the same time.

Black Magic Brakes Big Brake Kit Install and Review

I can appreciate that design philosophy quite a bit, shows a good amount of forethought. Most times when I add something to my Jeep the realization often hits me that I'm unable to replace this part if something goes wrong in an emergency. It's the main reason I'm heavily toning down how much...

Black Magic Brakes Big Brake Kit Install and Review

That's cool. I love hearing about people repurposing parts or designs from other vehicles to increase performance. Reminds me that I have to read Mac's iBooster thread at some point.

    Repairing a Suspension Disaster

The drop pitman arm is not supposed to clear anything other than the rim of a trash can. Take it off and put on a stock pitman arm.

I can't believe I said I wasn't gonna spend any money on this

Any reason to not use a new differential gear set twice?

As far as I can tell no. I've got thick cut gears and had no issues finding the ARB that fit them. I went ahead and looked at Eaton's website and found the correct locker (at least for a 44) that also would work so seems like locker selection isn't limited at all as far as I can tell.

DEI Insulation Kit Website VS Amazon

I feel like the louvers themselves would likely be enough to stop or at least heavily help prevent this issue since I already know propping open the hood helps a lot. If the insulation was an expensive or difficult job I would likely only save it for a backup, but it's neither of those so I...

DEI Insulation Kit Website VS Amazon

I assume you're referring to some random no name Amazon kit and not the DEI kit that's on Amazon?

Any reason to not use a new differential gear set twice?

That's fair, as long as you're willing to do it twice then who am I to stop you. I drove on 33's on 3.07s for years until I bought the axles I have now. Granted I have a manual and didn't know what regearing was, but once I did I'll never go back. I've only dug into my diffs once to replace...

Installing a 3" lift, help me do it right

I bought longer brake lines from I think AutoZone. Said they were for a TJ although I'm pretty sure they're just YJ lines. They've worked well enough for me so far.
