    Ignition Switch and Actuator replacement

Attempting to replace my ignition switch and actuator in my 06, but I've ran into a strange problem that is having me beat my head against the steering wheel. I'll attach pictures at the end. I've got the switch and actuator reinstalled excluding the cover for the actuator and without the cover...

LOD signature series rear bumper / tire carrier info and pics

Don't have the can holders, but I would think they would. I've been considering wiring in a low pro led bar for the reverse lights, after I do an LED swap in the housing. I like the look of it without them and don't know if I'd order a rear bumper with lights installed.

If you added the top rack maybe, but I doubt it without one. Signature series at glass and tailgate

TJ Shock & Spring Specification Resource Thread

@jjvw just to make sure I'm using your work correctly to calculate some stuff. I don't know what the PO put on for my 2.5" lift kit so I can't accurately calculate my ride height, so I'm gonna have to rely on the theoretical X" lift numbers from the manufacturers Assuming springs are the...

    Jeep overdrive question

Not really. During the winters where I'm originally from I would turn off OD just to make sure I didn't have the 1000rpm jump, first winter almost went into a ditch because of it. If I'm remembering pre regear correctly I was at about 1500-1750 in OD and about 2250-2500 in 3rd at 55mph I'd...

Do control arm skid plates actually work?

I thought that was the tummy tuck transfer case skid? I know the Savvy has one which is why it's top of the list if I go that route in the long run.

Do control arm skid plates actually work?

yeah...welds are gonna need to be redone when I replace the upper mount, that thing is more mangled than I saw during my quick post trail "oh fuck" look. Just ordered the UCF upper and lower mounts, hopefully I'll be smarter next time. From looking around the forum it looks like the UCF and...

Do control arm skid plates actually work?

@mrblaine , after asking you in the past for advice on your brakes(might be out of a metric shit ton but I asked about my bikes pads) and you giving up a sale I trust your advice more than others. You said I should look at my rear, I'm not seeing any cracked or breaking welds. Outside of having...

Do control arm skid plates actually work?

After taking out a control arm bracket and almost my transmission pan today I figure it's time for a little armor. I'm planning on the Savvy or UCF for both a Trans/Engine skid plate and control arm plates. Do the control arm plates actually work or would it be a waste of money?

Questions about front brake hard lines

I was planning on putting the YJ hoses on today to get ready for my lift, but the tube nut decided it likes it's current home. I'm currently putting penetrating oil on it to try again next week however I want to be ready for worst case scenario. Does anyone by chance know the length of the...

D-ring or Bumper Shackle Mounts (Machined)

@Jerry Bransford found a picture you posted in the past while researching the Savvy Front Bumper, and have a quick question on your build. I noticed you have what appear to be bolt on shackle mounts, since they are not in the frame rail what are they generally used for? I do agree though, only...

    Intake manifold swap

@Skylinessuck was considering swapping the manifold and tube, that way I wouldn't have to custom my PCV. The 04 apparently has the intake temp sensor in the manifold unlike the 06 where it's in the tube. Came to my senses though and just rigging up some hoses

    Intake manifold swap

I'm getting ready to move forward with my intake, but ran into a snag with the PCV. The way I see it I can go a few different routes: 1) fully custom with either 1/2" tube or breathe to atmosphere 2) swap my 2006 manifold and tube to an 04 or prior tube and manifold 3) modify my current tube to...

    Intake other than windstar

The 92-93 Buick 3.3 intake will, but that wasn't in a junk yard anywhere near me. After an extremely rough mock it looked like it'll work, and looking at it with the hood up it'll definitely work.

    Intake other than windstar

After quite a few mockups with the Windstar I've decided to go a slightly different route, an intake from a 94 Buick with the 2.2 I4 Since I'll be going about it in roughly the same way as the Windstar I've got a question about fitment. Looks like the radius is about .5-.75" larger than the...
