What year is your Wrangler?
2006
What model is your Wrangler?
Rubicon
What engine is in your Wrangler?
4.0L
What kind of transmission is in your Wrangler?
6-speed manual NSG-370
What mods do you have?
>Drivetrain:
*35" Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ P3 tires.
*Evolution 4.88 gears.
*Super ATV Chromalloy CV front axle shafts.
*Tom Woods front drive shaft.
*Tummy-tuck: TeraFlex BellyUp skid plate with three extra side-to-side stiffening ribs that I welded in.
*Savvy cable T-case shifter. Love it!
*Brown Dog Ultra-Flex 1" lift motor mounts. OE type vibration isolation but a considerably tougher mount.
*Precision Motor Werks 1.5" 5x4.5 aluminum wheel spacers to set proper offset on 15" OE Jeep Canyon rims.
*Black Magic Brakes 15" Big Brake Kit. Pure awesomeness! If you have the somewhat typical weak brakes on your TJ, I cannot recommend this enough.

>Suspension:
*Custom 4.5" suspension lift:
—-Currie 4" progressive-rate springs. "Tight and controlled" but comfortable on the road. Great off-road.
—-Rubicon Express adjustable upper and lower control arms. Good single-adjustable arms.
—-Rubicon Express adjustable track bars front and rear. Work just fine.
—-3/4" "leveling" spring spacers in front
*Rancho RS 5000 shocks all around and a Rancho steering damper.
*Rugged Ridge Heavy Duty tie rod and drag link. Seem to be doing OK but I think I'd spring for the Currie Correctlync if I were to do it again.
*Rubicon Express quick disconnects (same as JKS "Quicker Disconnects" but in silver powder coat).

>Body & frame:
*Smittybilt soft top. Came with Jeep...so far, so good, except for the half door window skins which leak because of cheap implementation of the weather strip at the front corners. I hit the top with 303 protectant every so often and it's holding up well for a cheap top.
*Crown 4465BL billet soft top bow disconnects. Awesome, cheap upgrade, though the black finish does fade in the sun.
*Rokmen 1" body lift. Black anodized aluminum pucks and what I think is the best idea for dealing with the grill bumpers...clean looking and keeps the OE rubber bumpers without using spacer blocks on the frame. https://www.rokmen.com/rokmen-1-body-lift.html
*Eastwood internal frame coating. Highly recommend for us "Southerners" who have fairly rust-free frames and want to keep them that way.
*Rugged Ridge 6" pocket style fender flares in front (meh - cheap plastic and cheaper hardware). Replaced mounting hardware with SS bolts and aluminum flare washers that make it much better, at least for looks.
*Smittybilt 3" XRC steel rear fender flares.
*Genright long narrow hood vents. On when I bought the TJ...OK but had to do some fab work to make deflectors to keep rain water from dumping all over my air box.
*EAG American flag style tube doors. These are solid and heavy duty (and just heavy).

>Armor:
*Smittybilt SRC front bumper. Love it.
*Smittybilt SRC rear (swingarm) bumper. No complaints, greaseable and holding up well.
*Warn heavy duty gas tank armor. Bash on this every time I'm on a trail...always scratched but never dented.
*Custom, welded-to-frame rock sliders. Saved my body over and over. If you don't get any other armor, get some real rock sliders!
*Steel rear body quarter panel armor. Frankly I forget where I got it and I can't find any receipts but they have the most horrible powder coating. Will have to strip them down and re-paint/spray with bedliner sooner rather than later.
*Solid Axles diff cover in rear. Looks good and it's cast iron at a reasonable price.
*Rugged Ridge Dana 44 differential guard in front. Same as Warn, Rock Hard, and several other brands.
*Hooke Road Steering Box Skid Plate. Seems as good a design and build quality as any other, is cheaper, and does not have any logo cut into it...a big plus in my book.
*UCF (Under Cover Fabworks) aluminum engine/tranny skid plate.
*Smittybilt 76900 SRC 7 Piece Cage Kit. Far as I can tell, pretty much exactly the same as the Rock Hard 4x4 kit but less expensive and already powder coated.
*JKS lower control arm MiniSkids. These welded-on skids have saved my control arms and control arm mounts from damage in several nasty encounters with trails (https://jksmfg.com/i-9056867-fab-wrangler-tj-1997-2014-miniskid.html?ref=category:381204). I would highly recommend these!! There are bolt-on options for those who do not have access to a welder.

>Recovery:
*Smittybilt XRC 9.5K Comp (synth cable) winch.
*Snatch block, tree-saver strap, recovery strap, etc.
*Smittybilt winch thimble (https://www.amazon.com/Smittybilt-2820-Aluminum-Shackle-Universal/dp/B00GSIKODQ).

>Lighting:
*12" Auxbeam LED light bar "fog light" on front bumper.
*52" LED light bar on A-pillar mounts.
*LED (JW Speaker clone) headlights. Bright as hell!

>Interior:
*Pioneer AVH-4100NEX double-DIN stereo with rear-view camera.
*Kicker 6.5" drivers in rear, Sony 4-ways in front. I actually prefer the sound of the Polks for the rear but these were in the Jeep and they sound pretty good.
*Bedrug carpet, front, rear, and tailgate. Good stuff but tends to "thread out". Bonus is that, on my TJ at least, I'm able to run it without attachment (no Velcro)
so it's easy to remove/re-install when needed.
*President Lincoln II Plus CB/Ham radio w/4' Firestik antenna. Note that this requires a simple mod to make it do CB...then it does CB in 25 Watts. Please verify that the current version is modifiable before getting one.
*AnyTone AT-778UV mobile amateur radio I use for GMRS.
*Rugged Ridge All-terrain floor mats. Good mats that have saved my carpet and floor from lots of mud, dust, and debris but I wish Jeep had put in some sort of anchoring system that they could tie to as they do tend to move around a bit.
*U-POL Raptor tintable bed liner on tub in a medium grey. Not as tough as I had hoped.
*Cruise control parts from ebay and salvage...it's an easy install if your TJ has the wiring (many do). Do a search on the forum for info.
*Caltrend Custom red/black twill front seat covers. Love 'em.
