    Harbor Freight Bauer Tools

Im ~5 years deep with the Bauer corded angle grinder. It's been fantastic, and did all the work for the suspension redo, axle swap, and rear frame chop/butt crack delete. 10/10 would do again.

    Mid-arm LJ Rubicon

Maybe that’s an indicator that the connection between the 2 shafts isn’t the weak point in the front axle.

    Mid-arm LJ Rubicon

This is going to be good. I’m excited to watch it unfold.

    An Active Community

Generally, I'd agree. Most forums that I frequented 10-15 years ago have died an agony filled death. Jeepforum or Pirate were places I frequented, but when they were sold off and in my opinion castrated their novelty died with them. I'm glad WTJF is holding on.

At what price would you buy a 241 over an Atlas?

I've heard the same lead time from others. I do feel that they tend to under promise and over deliver. My brother ordered an atlas and a friend ordered a Rubicrawler just after EJS in the beginning of May. They both were quoted a significant lead time, but just received both of their orders...

At what price would you buy a 241 over an Atlas?

I had a Teralow before I went to my Atlas. I won't talk much about the shortcomings about the Teralow, just know it had its limitations. My Atlas is a 5.0:1, which is arguably too low for my current 32RH. I became very enamored with the even lower gearing of the 5.0:1 contrasted to the 4:1 in...

I don't monitor the forum like I probably should. HMU next time you're out this way, we could likely get a group of locals out and have some fun in low range.

Discount Tire won't patch my 33, do I just buy 35's and start building?

Mind meeting up with me at Trail Hero and show me what im doing wrong? Could have saved myself $15-20k if I knew your wheeling style. 😎

Trouble installing 1" motor mount lift

So the engine mounting bracket is below the frame side mount? Can you get a 2x4, put it on top of a floor jack, and jack the engine up from the oil pan?

Trouble installing 1" motor mount lift

I would recommend getting the motor mount loosely attached to the motor and then focus on getting the mount to align with the pad on the frame. Judicious use of a pry bar could be helpful, as well as loosening the trans mount and possibly jacking up or down the transmission/t-case.

I bet I could make that hold air. I've got 15 plugs and a lot of hot air.

Discount Tire won't patch my 33, do I just buy 35's and start building?

I ran 35's on my Jeep for several years with 2.5"ish lift and 1.25" body lift. Granted, uptravel was lacking,I estimate ~1" but didn't notice the lack up uptravel unless driving through neighborhood gutters with a speed certainly higher than necessary. At the time it was on short arms, some...

Did you come through Spanish Fork Canyon? If so, you would have come right through my stomping grounds in Utah Valley on the way to Pinnacle.

What did you do to your TJ today?

Grease on the drill bit would help, I’m sure that even with that some chips are still inside the windshield frame.
