And chance you still have access to them? I've looked everywhere in my area and can't find one. Not sure what I would search for online, what the part would be called

    Crazy uneven brake pad wear

Everything seems to move ok. I'm really thrown by opposite pads wearing out on opposite sides of the Jeep. I bought the rotors and pads as a set three years and haven't given it any thought until I heard the grinding yesterday. First side I took off was the one that wrote to the backing plate...

    Crazy uneven brake pad wear

Changed my front pads today on my '05 since they started grinding on my way home. Never seen brakes wear like this before. On the passenger side the inner pad looked like new and the outer was just to the point of barely any pad left. The driver's side was the opposite, the outer pad looked like...

Key will come out with my Jeep in any gear

Ok, figured it out. I've watched YouTube videos until my eyes crossed. Happen to watch one that showed the interlock, most don't. I'm missing what appears to be a small pin. This is what locks the key from coming out with it in gear. None of the videos mention it so I'm guessing when I changed...

Key will come out with my Jeep in any gear

No luck. Changed the key cylinder and tried another actuator. The locking mechanism is definitely controlled by the actuator, but I'm not sure if it's something I did or if there's an issue at the other end of the cable. Just to clarify after reading some of the other comments, my key will only...

Key will come out with my Jeep in any gear

Thanks, Thank you. I figured I did something when I changed the part with the actuator pin. The part you suggested should be here tomorrow. I'll post an update after I changed it. 👍

Key will come out with my Jeep in any gear

Maybe a dumb question, but something I've never noticed in the 4 years I've had my Jeep. With the transmission in park and ignition off I can't move the shifter (automatic), which is normal. However after driving I realized I can leave the shifter in drive but still remove the key. Noticed it...

    42RLE automatic transmission slipping

Been awhile since I started this thread, but life lol. I just wanted to update that I purchased a new PCM from wrangler fix and it put my Jeep into limp mode, but after messaging Mark at wrangler fix he immediately called me to help determine a fix for the issue. My local dealer reflashed the...

    4.0 L high output?

I've got what is a kind of stupid question. I was going to replace the decals on my 5 TJ. Every set that I see has "4.0L High Output" decals. Are these engines actually HO?

    Four Wheel Drive Indicator Switch

That's what I mostly gathered from all my searches. I'm only finding the oem ones on eBay for about $100, not sure I need the light working that bad lol

    Four Wheel Drive Indicator Switch

.Trying to get my 4WD light to work with no success. I jumped the wires at the switch and it works. Bought a replacement Crown Automotive switch and still doesn’t work. APDTY and Dorman are the only two other options. Any thoughts before I buy another brand?
