a few months ago the Jeep bug bit me, I am on my fourth Jeep. I have owned a Kaiser CJ, a YJ and now I am on my second TJ. I bought a fairly rough 1997 TJ that I am in the process of building. The manufacture date indicates a build date of June 1996. It looks like it has some leftover YJ parts which will make it Interesting to order parts at times. My primary goal is to make it road safe and enjoyable to drive for my wife. Then the fun will begin. It is lifted, no idea which kit. It is on some old Cooper 33x12.50r15 tires. The exhaust manifold is cracked and will be replaced soon. The steering linkage will be replaced/upgraded shortly after. New tires and wheels to follow. I am taking pictures as the process unfolds.
