Shoutout @Wranglerfix I'm not sure if it was the pcm that fixed it or the sticker but all I'm lacking now is going to advanced and getting a mount for the new transmission and she's good to go.
Ordered a new pcm from Wranglerfix with overnight shipping. Seemed like my only option. Would you think selling the 99 pcm and the 03 Rubicon pcm for $125 a piece would be fair?
Yeah I'm gonna wait on their response. I'm hoping they can reprogram mine and save me some waiting. I appreciate all your help maybe this thread will help somebody one day 😂
this is how I feel about this entire situation lol. all the wiring is taken care of and at least and the jeep wants to crank. All I lack is (hopefully) a pcm and a 5 speed trans mount
My completely dumb and probably not possible theory is that since that pcm came out of a Rubicon it had skid and I locked it up. I'm wondering if that's the case if it could be reprogrammed for non-skid and to my vin#
So the garage fixed it to where it'll crank but no signal from the pcm... Looks like I might be trying to track down another one. Though I don't understand, it worked fine with that pcm when I first tried it
Yeah all that looks good, I'm sadly starting to think I've gone over my head here and I'm considering having it towed as I'm going to need it for this winter.
I'm thinking I just have the worst luck ever. Literally haven't touched the tj since last night went out there and now back to no guages(except odometer like before), no fuel pump, and no obd2... Which makes no sense at all
