4” thick concrete weighs about 50 lbs per sq ft, about 1000 lbs for your slab, Jack it up, put some 2” pvc under it for it to slide on and you should be able to move it right over

May have had the wrong oil in it, ( has to be GL5 hypoid) what does the oil look like in the front differential? Anything in the oil that a magnet will pick up?

Stanley tools are a good affordable choice that will hold up fine for most shade tree mechanics. Years back I worked for a French Company,Forex Neptune, all of our rigs were fitted out with Facom tools. They got a lot of use, held up as good as any American (or Chinese) would.

That is probably a 1/2” npt pipe plug which is a tapered thread. Once you get it to move it will back on out, just be careful not to round it off. Good luck The shop that replaced your seal had to have had that plug out to replace the fluid ?? WTF???

Does you differential have the little cheesy rubber fill plug(won’t hold pressure) or is it a threaded pipe?

No fluid should be up in the hose, the differential should be 0 pressure, the only pressure should be minimal due to temp change. I have never checked the vent on the tj, on the old Willys it’s just a simple fitting on the diff case. As suggested, take the hose off blow very low pressure thru it...

The differential breather on a TJ is a bastard setup. There is really no reason for it to be tied to the block for the brakes. On mine there is just a low pressure hose with a hose clamp. i would think you could just take the hose off and blow a little air back into the block, maybe stick a...

Usually if the breather vent is stopped up you will see seepage around the pinion seal and the cover, any sign of leaking there?
