I can confirm that CJ decals will not work on a TJ... But if you know a guy willing to do custom decals (and lots of measuring and trial and error!), you can recreate the classic CJ look on any Wrangler body. I have some Renegade decals reminiscent of the Silver Anniversary CJ-5 on my '06 LJ...

A well seasoned cast iron pan is the best! Look up how to strip and re-season with Flaxseed oil. We use ours all the time now.

For this wheeling trip, I just removed the tip. No problems with the exhaust where it was this time. Although I saw another LJ there with the pipe routed to just in front of the rear tire. Looked like a good spot to me, and I think I'll add that to my list of to dos for the Jeep. :-)

Well. Shit. :( I bought my 2006 LJ Rubi automatic a month ago. Somehow I missed this info until now. What should I do about it if selling isn't an option? Anything to be done before the problem hits? Anything I should be listening for or looking for to fix it before something catastrophic...
