Midnight LJR Build

Cool, excited to see how it works out. Got the side panels and sound assassin strips also.
If the TJs top is anything like the JL's I vote for removing the hard top first. The sound assassin strips, and the velcro I believe, requires you to sand the top a bit to get it to stick better. It created a ton of dust.

@Midnight LJR listen to this man! You have to take the top off abd lightly sand. Have a shop vac nearby for sure.

Why do you think I am waiting for you? 🤣

And here I was thinking we'd be going to sand hollow with lite brite and getting stuck so we could get shirts from Matt's offroad recovery.

Well I don’t know about litebrite but we can definitely get stuck.

Would be fun to bring the trailer and see how it does. That might get us stuck…

So since I am getting the liner for the top I decided I would go ahead and add a little to the body of the Jeep.

I won’t be doing a 100% cover job, probably not even close since I don’t want to make it so the floorboards cannot get wet without a bunch of rust concerns. Just going to add some to the transmission tunnel and other obvious areas. Don’t want to add a ton of weight but figure it will be fun to do a few areas and cut back on some echo and vibration noise.

I ordered these 3 products to try out from Second Skin Audio

Sound Deadener
Damplifier Pro

Sound Blocker
Luxury Liner Pro (MLV + Foam)

Sound Absorber
Mega Zorbe

I won’t be making @Alex01 help with the part of the project on his vacation. 🤣

Installed HotHead Headliners today. Turns out @Alex01 even makes out of state house calls!

Have not got a chance to take it on the freeway and see if it does anything for noise. But it sure looks fancy.
