Not much of a build thread, but just about ready to unleash this thing on the streets and trails!! I've had this LJ in many stages since I got it back in 2008. It still needs a few small things, but otherwise ready to peel out! And there is a certain member on here that gets the credit for helping make it what it is!! :D

Sweet Jesus that thing is badass! I’ll bet that thing can really tear it up!

Nice buy. Any pics of the dash and console?

Any plans on building some inners for the fronts?

Here is a shot of the gauge panel 12voltunlimited did for me. Then custom console to mount shifter (about to pull for paint). No plans on inner fenders. Its a non issue for me function wise. Aesthetically it may look cool, but my TJ didn't have any and I wheeled everywhere without issue. (I'm the guy that would drive a mile out of the way to avoid a mud lol)

The buggy is not the Jeep in this post lol.....I was just showing how my buggy"TJ" didn't have inner fenders. The dash and console are of my LJ
Nice rig in any case. Not much TJ left. I bet it goes like stink off road. Where's the picture at? Looks vaguely familiar.

I doubt you will find any rigs of that size and capability with that much TJ in them. It has the full frame, full tub, OEM dash, OEM under dash harness, OEM PDC, OEM bumper mounts at both ends, OEM HVA box with working heater run by the TJ dash controls, OEM steering wheel and column, OEM horn, turn signal and headlight harness.

There was a fair bit of work and thought that went into keeping as much OEM as possible.

Ricky didn't post up what was my favorite part.

That and he needs an audio clip of the exhaust sound on here.

Did I misunderstand that there is a Dana 70 back there?
