Wanting to know if there is any other location besides the grille(trans cooler installed)to mount one?
Wow,I didn’t even know this existed
I’m listening,I really would like to do one of the heat sink ones,do they have to have a lot of air flow.do you have pics?-thanksThe important question is why you don't want to use one of the existing solutions? You can probably install one anywhere you can route the lines. I use a Derale D13200 and run it directly off the steering gear up vertically and right back down where the line normally runs. It is on the edge of the radiator and out of the way of a transmission cooler. I don't know if it's as good as the big aluminum one Blaine uses but it works for me. I used it because it's cheaper than Blaines cooler or the PSC solution.
Yes,I want to run the aluminum style, but don’t know where I can mount it,I don’t know anything about them and I don’t really want to move my trans coolerHonestly @mrblaine has way more experience with this shit, he uses the big aluminum heat sync style. Mine is the plain copper tube and fin style that runs straight off the pump and back down. I have a big transmission cooler and the mount replaces the radiator support so I probably can't run that kit. I can take some pictures tomorrow. I like my solution but I wont push it on anybody over the aluminum style because I'm sure Blaine has his reasons for running it that are based on experience, of which I have almost none on this.
Did you have to have a high pressure hose built? You got me, it's 54.9 which is basically t-shirt weather. This is what I've got, it doesn't go passenger beyond the last grill slot but it's flush with it so it looks like you've got room.

I don’t know if that type needs air flow?I have mine mounted on a 1/8" alum. shelf bolted to the rear flange on the bumper. Rubber hose along edge of grill so hoses won't rub on grill.
