I think you would be better severed by carrying a 30’ strap. It would take up less space, weighs less, will not hurt as much when it hits you during a crash and costs less.Got stuck bad crossing a swampy ditch/creek in my parents cow pasture today deer hunting. Barely had enough line to make it to a tree to winch (like 3 feet left on the spool).
Thinking about ordering a land anchor. Does anyone know anything about them or ever used one?

Thank you I appreciate it. They came on the Jeep when I got it last year and have held up well. I like the textured look, but it makes it next to impossible to touch up when you beat them on the rocks. I’d like to get some gen right aluminum Boulder high lines for the front eventually as I rub on the back corner during articulation currently. That will probably have to wait until I can afford the rear armor and sliders to match because I’m not a big fan of a bunch of hodge podge mix matched parts, at least on the outside. They look dam good
Do you have the hall effect sensor? Which SYE?Mine too. Im gonna yank the cap off, look at it and re rtv

A little baby power helps find the leak. All I had was flour. It did well enough.
Will do! Going to ace for Christmas lights and o rings tomorrow. Hopefully that's all it isReplace the o ring. Make sure to lube before installation.

Cleaned with thinner, then mineral spirits, sanded lightly, then 3 coats of Rustoleum rattle can self etching primer. How did you prep the aluminum?
Thanks! Thought about it but don't have any other aluminum bits, so felt like it would have looked out of place. Also toyed with the idea of red for the D rings but decided to keep it low key. That’s cool,I would have painted the steel and just cleared the aluminum!

Yep no gaudy ness with the red rings,I don’t even like the look of having d rings on all of the time. Thanks! Thought about it but don't have any other aluminum bits, so felt like it would have looked out of place. Also toyed with the idea of red for the D rings but decided to keep it low key.
Normally I might be on board with this but the big stamped letters gotta go. I probably would have covered them up too. That’s cool,I would have painted the steel and just cleared the aluminum!
I think they remove easily with acetone and a scotchbrite pad.Normally I might be on board with this but the big stamped letters gotta go. I probably would have covered them up too.
