For all of us with two wheels also

Yes it’s the purple one. He now has a fox 36 150mm Kashima coating. My hardtail has a 64.5 HTA running 27.5x3.0 tires. A little heavy but it’s fun.
I have 27.5x3.0’s on my Karate Monkey. They are fun on the rigid single speed because you can air way down. Fun bike to piddle around on, pretty polar opposite end of the spectrum than the Bronson.

What is your hard tail? I’m not familiar with it.

RSD middlechild chromoly version. I’m able to run 27.5+/29+ single speed and has adjustable chain stays.
Karate monkey! That’s a sick bike.I love their orange version of this bike.

It’s a lot of fun and really playful. I used to have a 1x1 that I built with 650b wheels but it always felt a little small(it was a 16”) and I’m a sucker for purple so I decided to piece this one together. I wish I was in a little better shape to push the SS around more so it’s basically a mellow cruise bike currently.

Rsd has my bike in purple and it was hard choice between my color and purple.
Check it out. https://rsdbikes.com/middlechild-v2-chromoly/

Oh man no question I would have went with that. But then again I love purple and can’t do anything yellow. Maybe if I ever stop buying Jeep parts I’ll find a revelation or a pike for the KM, but for now it’s roll cage and seats!
Are you on Pinkbike? All sorts of deals to be had on there. That’s the life I live to MTB parts or Jeep parts.

I am, but it’s not a big priority for me at the moment. Lots more I want to do to the Jeep currently than spending money on more bike stuff.

My friend actually when down on his Harley this Friday. Got hit on the freeway. Broke two ribs and his arm. Glad that he made it out alive.
That's the main reason I don't have a desire to ride on the road and instead prefer a dirt bike. It's not that I don't trust my own abilities but people are oblivious when driving. I can't even count the number of people I see on my commute texting or watching a movie while on the freeway daily. I really want a dual-sport at times but then quickly remember that I'd need to drive on a 5 lane highway for a few hrs just to get to a half-decent dirt road or OHV park. At that point loading, a dedicated trail bike seems more appealing. If I lived in an area that had less congestion, or quicker access to trails, I'm sure I would feel differently.

Twas the night before Christmas, and out in the garage. Two Harley's were sitting...... a V Twin montage. But all of the streets they were covered with snow.... Not a safe place to ride, not a spot on the road.
The tenders were plugged in and humming away. Keeping batteries charged on that cold winter day.
The chrome was all shiny, the paint bright and clean, But the weather outside, it was nasty and mean.
Then out in the yard I heard such a sound, But how can that be, there was no-one around?
Then out in the driveway was a thunderous roar, The unmistakable sound of a V Twin, big bore.
The driver was plump dressed in leather and black. A long beard of white and a big leather sack. He went to the house and walked right through the door, Leaving gifts by the tree and gifts on the floor. A helmet and shield and a new set of lights, to make the ride safe on those warm summer nights.
A new set of pipes just to make the bike sing. Chrome license plate cover, a bit of new bling. Then back to his Bagger, old Biker Clause ran. He fired it up and lifted the stand. And I heard him exclaim as he roared out of sight.
Safe riding to all, and to all a good night.
Merry Christmas my friends.
Safe riding in 2022!

Well guys, finally getting back on 2 wheels!

I sold my ‘79 low rider and my cafe-custom ‘72 Honda 750 back in the late 80’s cuz a growing family needed the money, and they all wouldn’t fit on the bike! 🤣

But now I’m retired and I’m getting all my bucket list items in order, and that demands 2 wheels to compliment my vehicle inventory.

I’ve wanted a Sportster since I was 16. I really wanted a stock 1965 XLCH, but I don’t want something to work on. Or kick start with my bum right knee!

So this is what I got

2006 Roadster with spoke wheels. Mostly stock.

The PO re-jetted the carb, swapped the cams, and put a cushier seat on it, and 1” longer rear shocks on it.

Really looking forward to getting my head in the wind again this spring. 😸
