Best place for used parts?

I'm trying to replace the rear tub wiring harness and get some factory tail lights. The last owner butchered all the wiring for a trailer connection. I got a quote from one place online but it seemed really high. I understand this stuff isn't made anymore, but don't think it's dipped in gold LOL. Can you give me recommendations for a reliable scrapper?
 
Daveys Jeep is great, if they don't have it you can always search local yards with car-part.com. Some of them aren't terrible. Ebay can be a good place to find stuff as well.
 
It's always good to have "a guy". I have 2 within a hour from where I live, unfortunately in opposite directions. One lives on a farm and literally has a field full of YJs, TJs & JKs that he's parting out. I don't know how his wife or the municipality put up with him. The other guy has a barn full of mostly TJ parts. If there's something you need and they don't have they'll call you when they do.

Yep, agreed. I found my two via their local Facebook sales ads.
 
You need to establish a relationship with a local that parts them..I have the parts you need and can ship so if interested message me

I just tossed my old factory tail lights couple weeks back since no one wanted them locally even giving away for free. If you had posted here I would have given them to you for the cost of shipping. You might want to ask in the "Want to buy" subforum here, someone close to you may just have their old ones gathering dust. Talk to our admin @Chris if you need permissions to post there.

unfortunately used jeep parts are sold somewhat as a premium.

I think ive ever only seen 2 wranglers in salvage yards and they were beat to hell and very well stripped.
 
Used Daveys a few times. Especially for fasteners, bolts and the odd parts that hard to find. Larger parts like fenders, hoods, tailgates I have found a couple of guys on FB/Craigslist that are Jeep Recyclers. Unfortunately they are both at least an hour away.
