I thought there was options that helped support the forum, is that the case? I believe I'm looking for a 30 front 44 rear. 5.13 is what I'm after per @Jerry Bransford suggestion ..looks like you have to buy the ring and pinion and master install kit separate? Any direction on where to purchase from??

Thanks
Andy

4lowparts used to be recommended a lot on the forum, but I think things have changed there. Either way, go with a quality brand like Revolution for your gears.

Do you need the thick Dana 44 ring gear?
Might give these guys a call, they claim the kit is in stock.

Call Revolution and order directly from them. Not sure what their stock looks like though. You may have to wait quite a bit.

i have not opened diff to confirm but 90% sure it is 3.73
The factory ratio for a (non-Rubicon) Unlimited is 3.73. I would start by calling Revolution Gear to get the real skinny on the availability of gears for your Jeep. (844) 213-4327 Brook runs it and is in the know but I'd start with their general sales information guy first.

What @Jerry Bransford said.^^^
I have an '06 LJ, non-Rubicon, with stock Dana 30/Dana 44 axles and the 3.73 ratio. To go to a lower ratio without changing the carrier, you need the thick ring gear for the Dana 44. The Dana 30 3.73 carrier is fine. Revolution sells a kit with the ring gears we need.

Generally isn't it best to let the installer source the gears? If you are doing your own then I guess that's you but if not you might consider at least asking them first before getting parts.

I spoke with my guy. He said it was up to me. He's set up gears in my excursion and my tundra. Knows his stuff...would rather leave selection to me.

Normally it's always good to go with the installers direction on parts.
That said, given the option your guy gave you you might check out Sierra Gear R&P's
My installer loved them, and said they where made by Circle C back in 2013 when I pulled the trigger.
I've had zero issues with those gears and a great install over 8.5 years and 80,000 miles.
Who knows the recent mfg. location, but they worked well for my 30/44 install 8.5 years ago.

Whatever you buy and from whomever...be prepared for a long ass wait. I ordered a Super 35 Eaton E-Locker a month ago and I just checked and the manufacturer says it'll be another 8 to 12 weeks.

My winter regear is probably going to crawl into summer.

Be patient...I like the folks at Revolution Gear
