What did you do to your TJ today?

Took my dad out for a little bit of exploring today. Found some snow, and mud. It was a real nice day out. Always find old mining stuff here, and other junk in the desert. Definately need to investigate the bump stops on this jeep. I do rub a bit on the fenders when flexing, with still an inch or so of gap on the bump stops. Probably wasnt the right combo to run 35s on it. This is all previous owner stuff. 4.5" rubicon express springs. They were upgraded from 3" lift springs when he went to 35s. I bet the bump stops werent changed.

My CV joint failed on my heap, no big deal, get it rebuilt and I am back in action. Took it to the local drive shaft shop, who have always been the go to guys. Pushing 5 weeks later my shaft is still setting on the floor where I dropped it off, and they aren't sure when they can get to it. Short handed, Rona, racing season...blah blah blah I get it, your WAY behind. During this time I priced a new shaft, and figured out for about 75$ more than the rebuild, I could have a new one.

Called Tom Woods and even with my stupid ford 9" rear, it was shipped fast and bolted right up.

Thank you!

Not so much to but for the TJ. Put some clamps up to hang my good windows when I have the beaters in, or vice versa and the rear window as well when it's out. No more draping them over other stuff and having to worry about scratches! 😃

I need these in my life! Do you have a link? Do they have mounting holes?

My wife just happened to find the clamps at Big Lots...I think they were $4 for a 4-pack. I don't have the packaging any more but had 2 left over; picture below for reference. The key is they're flat so they lay flat against the wall. No mounting holes, so I drilled one in each clamp.
