Well hell, sure hope I'm not the last jackass holding my phone waiting for you all. The Dusy has been a goal ever since I started watching local trail reviews. My rig is finally ready and I am determined to get it done this year. It looks like an epic adventure.

Yuba City guy here.

Looking for a recommended shop in Sacramento or even closer to me (north of Sac)

My TJ has 3.07s, Dana 30/35 & open diffs. Not ideal for sure.

Ready to plop down some money to finally build it up. Especially since I am starting to plan a trip to Moab in a couple months. If I knew how to do gears I’d do it all myself. But that’s out of my level of ability.

The plan is 4.56s, Super 35 kit with chromoly shafts and a rear locker.

Thanks!

I’m a little east of Sac, but this is who I use. Ben does good work. Varozza 4x4

I forget who @Midnight LJR used but they were in the sac area. Maybe he'll chime in.

Rivet City Differentials, in rancho Cordova.

Guy is excellent done 2 Jeeps for me and 2 vehicles for a friend. He does excellent worked and even spent like 2 hours on the phone one time waking me through a gear install I did myself.

Highly recommended from me.

Ok guys, let's get something on the books. My battery is going to die soon if it doesn't get driven.

Georgetown- Uncle Tom's cabin and then go to granite bowl since snow isn't a thing this year.

Is slick rock or deer valley open?

Signal peak - bound to see snow on the top but we'd be crazy to actually drive on the shelf-ish road towards the top.

Cow mountain - weather permitting

Hollister.

With the snowfall, we could probably run rubicon lol. (Seriously though this year is nuts. We probably want to do an early rubicon date so we don't get burned out)

We need something in March
