Impossible turn is possible

As sad as that is, we've wheeled with a bunch of folks who drive the exact same way. On an obstacle, diff out, we tell them it is the diffs, they back up without turning the steering wheel and drive forward without turning the steering wheel and put their diffs back on the exact same rocks that stopped them before they moved. I don't know how that escapes their thought process, but it is very common and I see them do it over and over.

Did something similar on my first date with my wife. Had a Grand Cherokee and took a shortcut down a mountain road. Realized it was a private road and turned around about like that, only I hung the nose over the edge. My wife told me years later that she was sure we were going to die, lol.

My wife does that... she has zero spacial awareness and often turns the wheel the opposite direction when parking. The backup camera in her KL.

Years ago she was trying to back her X3 out of the garage. I came home to find it sideways across the garage threshold.. exactly like the picture above. No idea how she did it. Must have taken a dozen or two wrong moves to get that far stuck.
