Any Cigar Aficionados Here?

I have a friend who's father died and inherited 15,000 cigars from boxes to loose single still wrapped. They are about 10 years old and was kept in controlled dark room for years. He has all level of cigar brands. What to do them? Does anyone have a clue on getting rid of them want to 25-40% value if they take them all.

pictures would help. It's all going to depend on what brands. Even though they were kept in a dark room, they must also be kept at the proper humidification level. If they are dried out tinder, they would be worthless.

Well, if they were stored that way they're dried out by now?
What a waste.

when you say "controlled dark room", what does that mean?

it matters not, that the room is light or not, what matters is the Temperature and humidity control. If the cigars are maintained in proper humidity and temperature, they should be fine. If not.........they're kindling for starting a nice fire.

to bad, they could be worth anywhere from 50¢ to $30 per cigar depending on the brand

Mmmmm, YUM!

I don't know much about cigars but this thread makes me want to go grab some Drew Estate Larutan. I do enjoy them, but whether they are good or not i have no idea

I'm really a pipe smoker, but do enjoy a cigar occasionally. When I do, I smoke Romeo y Julieta Reserva Churchill. They are medium cost, big flavor and made pretty well.

The problem with Cuban cigars is the cost. For what a box of Cubans cost, I can buy 4 boxes of really good Nicaraguan
cigars.
Then you're buying them all wrong.
Been buying Cuban's for 20+ years on line and definitely cheaper, not to mention better than domestics.

Better yet!
Me and a buddy enjoying some in Houston at a cigar pub a few years back.

I've always wanted to try one since I found out it was Jordan's favorite cigar. He can buy any one he wants so that says something about them. Someday I'll buy one. I only smoke one on yearly frequency anyway.
