What did you do to your TJ today?

Got all the pieces cut for rear storage setup. Right side holds a camping tote, left side is a little shorter. Compressor and other gear will ride there. A 10" subwoofer will be in the front, behind driver seat. Hopefully have it all put together this weekend.

That looks very well made. Clean man! That birch? I think I would’ve preferred that over my metal one. Less weight and custom dividers etc. you may have a market there. But after a strong hint the wife bought my steel one. “Early b day present” Powers of the mind. Lol
You gonna put hinges and a lockable front?

Its 5/8" baltic birch. I will have it sealed up well. Should be pretty much weather proof. It will be able to slide out of the back. I'm planning on using the two side bolts, assuming they were for the rear seat, and the one right in the middle of the floor to bolt it down. I have a bunch of extra carpet I might end up wrapping it in if it needs it. Might just put a stain on it first and see how it looks. I was thinking about some side wings that would be hinged, but that would be it. The main body will be solid. I've been looking at ideas and drawing different ideas for a while now, and this was what I decided. There will be a magnetic grill in front of the subwoofer as well to protect/hide it from view.

I used some old burlap and painters tape to lay out and replicate the look of an idea I've been kicking round. Now that I've seen how it looks, I might actually try and price it out.

Got it back from the shop after replacing the steering gear box and the driver’s side u-joint. Needs a wheel alignment, but the power steering is a lot better without a leaky gear box 🤣 Still getting an occasionally clicking noise from the driver’s side front end when I turn the wheel to the right, although it’s not as bad as before. Still at a loss as to what it could be. Everything else has been replaced within the last 2 years, with the exception of the axles.

Drove it to my buddys , rode in his GT 350. It will snap your head back going into fourth gear at 90.

Does anybody know where my jeeps’ power just went? 😂

Click when turning can be a unit bearing.
