$20 for a new center cap or just get a spin free hub kit so I won't need center caps? 🤣

In all seriousness, I think this trip was the straw that broke my NSG370s back. It's ok for street use but if I need reverse on the trail, I have to firmly hold it in or it pops out. Hand throttle saved my bacon today cause I could gas it and use the foot brake instead of stepping on the gas and using the parking brake. I'll be shopping for a rebuilt box when I get back home. Fixing it is within my skills but I don't have another vehicle to drive while I rebuild it, so a weekend swap is what it'll have to be.

How did your Torq locker do?

Awesome! I was walking right up stuff that I would have struggled on before. I only used my rear locker once, and I turned it on before attempting so I don't even know that I would have needed it.

It actually put me in kind of a weird spot with trail difficulty ratings. I had zero traction issues all day...what ended up challenging me was tight corners (made worse with the nsg370 reverse issue) and off camber sketchiness. I'm used to lack of traction and ground clearance stopping me before those things become apparent. But since I've done any real wheeling, I've gone from 32s to 35s, added the torq in front, a swayloc, and a hand throttle.

I’m hoping to get out on some trails in the next few weeks. Can’t wait to see what kind of difference it makes.

I love my Warn Locking Hubs on my Dana 44/Chevy hybrid axle. Along with its ARB and chromoly parts.
And had Warns on my old Land Cruiser too.

Front locker def negatively affects turning.

Where were you wheeling?
3b offroad in Eureka Springs, AR. First time I've ever wheeled in an offroad Park (vs the public land I used in Colorado) so I don't really know how it compares to other stuff in the region...but it's way different than I'm used to, that's for sure. Even though most wheeling in Colorado is in national forest, it doesn't have the tight woods feeling that this did. I've never had to look at standing trees as obstacles. A lot of the Colorado stuff started as mining roads so it was still trying to get from A to B, whereas this seems more like they're just trying to cram as many trail miles as they can into 150 acres of the Ozarks. If that's just how wheeling is east of I-25, I'll adjust, but it had a very "small" feel to it like I was on trails cut for a SxS. I didn't even touch any of the stuff they called "extreme" because it all looked like driving straight up a black diamond ski run and I'm not really feeling like tumbling backward 100 feet end over end in my LJ.

are center caps not cosmetic?

Totally cosmetic. Just joking about my tendency to read about cool mods in this forum and then find no limit in the mental gymnastics I'll do to justify buying it.

I do have the oscillating driveline vibes, so I likely will get hubs at some point, but right now I can just drive 72 or slower and not worry about it. Unfortunately my wife still remembers when I used keeping up with highway traffic as my justification for gears, so I can't use that one again...yet. 🤔

That is Arkansas. I prefer wheeling in the United States myself.

Ah yes, we spoke about 3b in another thread.

Its not a big park, but I had a good time there. I did some of the extremes, don't lose momentum!! Lol

Haha, so it's not that way elsewhere? There are 3 offroad parks each 2 hours closer to home than this one and SMORR is only about 30 minutes farther...this trip was more about me and the wife getting a weekend away and I looked to see if there was any local wheeling we could do to keep me from antique shopping.
