Is "12VoltGuy" outta business?

I always have used QuickCar for my switch panels, they will custom build any thing you want. It also helps they have a manufacturing facility within 5 miles of where I live.

This sucks to see. He used to always provide our club with a nice winch controller to raffle off at our annual meetings. One year he even donated a very cool multi switch/ignition panel for a buggy with our club logo engraved. I have one of his winch controllers in my jeep and love it.

Like mentioned previously though, I also recommend custom3dfab for anyone looking for a switch panel.

I'll third this one. I have some of his stuff ready for installation into my LJ. In fact, Jonathan (Custom3DFab.com) is working on a switch panel that mounts between the sun visors, similar to the sPOD panel. It's in prototype testing right now. His stuff is very nicely done, but you do have to add switches and wiring yourself to complete the job.

It has become polarizing!

As for switch panels, I've seen a couple advertised on etsy.

Printed switch covers, I use OTRATTW, he has quite a selection. He built a custom panel for me one time, but has since refused to do anymore due to the amount of time involved and the price he can charge.

You guys will be sorry when we find out he's actually dead, short of a reenergized (conduit) body.

He had a damn fine product at a good price. Materials cost (to customers trying to duplicate) was probably about 50% of his price. Engraving, wiring up the switches and (optional) cable was the rest of it. No wonder he was weeks behind! It wasn't anything any of us here couldn't have pieced together, but at the price he was asking for his ready to go kit, it was a no brainer to simply buy it. His documentation and even a supplied cut-out template was first rate, albeit rather oddly printed on 4x6 index cards! Mine dropped right in and worked correctly the first time because it was made right and documented correctly.

Goddess Bless him whatever his current circumstance is. I too hope he's OK...

Last I heard, he's been busy with a new stripper.
