What did you do to your TJ today?

I painted my wheel wells and frame
Flat black last week and yesterday I painted my new bumper with a satin finish. I’m trying to decide if I like the contrast or not.

Installed a JKS front track bar. Had a couple troubles with it, one of those being I didn’t have a 9/16” drill bit. I have almost every standard size under 1”, but of course, not that one. One store was sold out, the next one wanted $32 for the one they had. HomeDepot had one for $15. Even with 4” suspension lift and 1.25” BL I only had about 1/8” of threads left to shorten the track bar? Is this normal or is something funky with my setup? My axle is about 1/4” off from center, I figure that was close enough.

You need to get it centered or you'll be driving sideways down the road, your handling will suck, and you'll induce premature tyre wear.

I bought a Supreme Suspension rear track bar listed as being for 1-3 inch lift. I have a 3 inch lift and had to have the track bar adjusted all the way in. Definitely misrepresented.

NOT real impressed with "SUPREME SUSPENSION" . PO put 2" lift on my '03. I bought their FRONT track bar to center axle and the Heim joint at the end broke off at the neck/thread after only 2 years of highway only driving. They wouldn't stand behind it. Charged me like $40 for a new joint. Should have just went with a different manufacturer and replaced the whole thing.

Cut a 1/4" off the tube and screw it in another 1/4" , if the threads are bottoming out tap more or cut 1/4" of threads off , your not going to need them to adjust it out.

You are completely wrong. Most people that do a BB, don't center the axle (including myself). Nothing that you mentioned ever happens. If that happened to you, you have other alignment issues.

Hey guys first time posting. About a month ago I bought my first TJ from a family member. Im the 3rd owner. I didnt know that it had been wrecked before (I dont mind it but the wife isnt happy about it) but the passenger air bag had been diploid and she was very adamant that I replace it. So I found one on eBay and ordered it. While waiting on it to come in we noticed the horn wouldn't work and also the cruise control wouldn't work. So I figured it was the clock spring and went ahead and ordered a new one. The parts came in and I change both of them at the same time (the dash was all taken apart so way not). Well after get the dash back together and battery hooked back up the horn still didnt work. I check fuses, relays and even the switch in the steering wheel. Turns out it was just a bad horn so ordered one on Amazon and good to go now. Then started on the oil leak on my shop floor searching for the leak revealed the RMS leaking so that's the current project. Should be able to finish it this afternoon hopefully.
