So last I heard these are out of production? Do we know if there is a plan in motion to bring these back?

Cannot find the thread where I read that.

Bummer if that's the case. They were a unique product.

Not sure but I'll take your bumper off your hands if you ever decide to let it go. Those seem to be out of production as well.

Looks like tail lights are out of production also

Whoh everyone calm down lol. Pretty sure all that other stuff is just out of stock. Not trying to start rumors. I am just talking specifically about the stainless steel sliders that go on top of the corner armor.

I thought I still saw a TJU one on the site a few weeks ago - but I was probably just blocking out the out of stock notification.

Are you talking about the rub rails?

Yeah, looks like they call them both names on their site.

Last I heard the guy building them was no longer able to for health reasons. Given how long they've been gone it seems like they've not found anyone else yet to fill in. But I don't think that means they're gone for good.

When I was waiting for my sliders Michael from Savvy told me about the owner of one of their suppliers having serious health challenges. Despite this they (Savvy) still somehow got the sliders made. I think @Irun just took delivery of some too. Maybe the rub rails aren’t in high enough demand in the moment to go through the trouble of finding someone to make them.

Latest update is he is back in the shop in limited capacity and working again albeit very few hours per week. I did also hear that his son was assisting in some manner so that may be good news or bad news depending on how good the kid is.

I was able to get a set for my TJ, but not for the LJ. I'm hoping those do come back in stock! 🙏

I'll send a note down and ask if he knows he is a slave.
What I was trying to say was that Savvy got the sliders made by some means (unknown to me—another supplier or shop?). You inferred that I was suggesting that someone living with serious hardship should still be expected to deliver on business expectations which is not what I meant.

I think he was messing with you for your choice of wording... ;)

"...the owner of one of their suppliers..."
