hey gang, i gotta change out my fuel pump soon and was curious to know if anyone had had any good experiences with cheap amazon/ebay sub $100 fuel pump assemblies, or should i just spend $200+ and go to o'rielies with that replacement warranty?

If your TJ is in fact a 2000 model year SE automatic, your engine should be a 2.5L and your transmission a 30RH…

Just a little FYI so when shopping around for a fuel pump the proper information is being conveyed…

Bosch would be my choice, if you can locate one around Maui…

If you’re just looking to get a new one installed RockAuto has a selection…

Bosch, no Delphi or Airtex or no-name brands unless you want to do it again in a few months.
Delphi has been performing pretty well thru the community and has generally become one of the "Go To" assemblies, mine is going on 7 years without issue. What problems did you experience..

i out in a delphi and it was a dud. took forever to crank and i removed the gas line to see if it was squirting and sure enough it was super intermittent... now perhaps my crank sensor is gone too? but im gonna put on a new replacement delphi tomorrow and hope for the best

Go to Dealer get OEM Pump for your Jeep. Period
If you can even get one. I've been waiting for rebuild 2.5L since Feb 8th

Welp, my 2nd Delphi pump just died on me in as many weeks…..

They’re supposed to be the best option that they currently make. I think I’m gonna go with generic Napa brand next…

Until then I await AAA

Well this thread is depressing me. I got a Delphi fuel pump because Bosch apparently wasn't available at one point for a 05-06? That was January of 2021. Then I never installed it in my 06' but I was thinking about using it in my 05'. At this point it's way too late to return.

I swear if the Bosch was available at the time I totally would have bought it. My Delphi is still in the box. 😣

I'm still not entirely sure it is a bad pump. (though it did work fine for like a week) as my voltages dont seem to be up to snuff also since it (now) only seems to die after ive been driving for 10 minutes. Honestly I hope its the pump as going through the wiring or rewiring gives me the willies
