Pretty certain it’s leaking in the back, and it’s time to change it anyway.

I cannot get past this part for the life of me. How do I get this plastic piece off of the back wiring? I’ve got it unclipped.

Remove the plastic cover for the fuel injector wiring harness, lift the fuel injector harness; then lift the harness going around the back of the valve cover.
Lift and remove the plastic case the rear harness was routed thru. remove the bracket for the throttle/transmission/cruise control and then start unbolting the valve cover.

And while you're in there unwrap the harness on that corner...it's a common place for broken or damaged wires and since you're there...might as well take a good look and then replace any broken or worn loom wrap.

The plastic bridge is attached to the valve cover studs. Work the plastic up and off the threads to free the bridge. A nylon pry tool is recommended.

As stated above, remove the cap of the fuel injection wiring so the entire wiring harness has slack to go up.

Thanks y’all, after much swearing I figured it out! I didn’t realize there were clips on the back of the bridge as well. Working it up off the studs after was a true PITA. 🤪
