What did you do to your other vehicle today?

Progress pics. Nice and black in the shade and under florescent lights, red starts showing in sunlight. It didn't turn out exactly like intended, but I do like.

Replaced all the lug nuts on my Camry because the biggest fault I’ve found with Toyotas is the lug nuts swell causing the original socket to not fit and when you up to the next size it strips the lug nut….

Dropped the Armada off at the dealership for some warranty work, drove the warranty provided rental car home, said all that to say, I will be driving the Jeep to work till the wife's Armada is done!!!!!

Picked up another "other vehicle"

My first car, 36yrs ago, was a 71 Camaro. It was well used and very tired, not to mention deteriorating from the salty Midwest winters, but she was all mine !! Went thru 3 motors the first year, parents forced me to sell it and move on. Ya never forget your first love !!

Wasnt looking for radical, but got it in spades. 71 Z28 w/600hp 427 + 200hp shot of NOS + chassis to handle it

Didn't happen today, but this week. Mrs' 06 Denali either blew a head gasket or cracked a head (both being relatively rare occurrence for the 6.0L). Since this thing has about 200k on it and the rust is starting to get pretty bad, we finally decided to buy a vehicle built within the last 16 years and less than 6 digits on the odometer. Enter the 2019 JLUR we found at a somewhat local dealer. 25k on the ticker with a tan interior and a boatload of options. Hoping this one hangs around for a while.

Yesterday, I replaced the condenser and dryer for the A/C in my 372,000-mile 1998 Subaru Impreza and charged the system. When I bought it in 2004 with 125k on it, it had suffered front-end damage during it's tenure with the previous owner. The condenser developed a serious leak right where the vertical frame structure pushed back into it. Funny that I got almost a quarter-million miles before it failed! It's nice to have A/C again, especially with temps nearing 100°F now!

Today, I changed the oil and rotated tires on my wife's 2021 Impreza. Seems my vehicle maintenance needs never rest. Next on the agenda for this afternoon is to swap out the left knuckle on the LJ with the one Mr. Blaine sent (a couple months or so ago) with a reverse taper to flip the tie-rod and then install his raised sway bar brackets. But, I guess I need to report that on the "what did you do to your TJ" thread...

My truck uses rubber air dams to direct air flow to the radiator and transmission cooler. Well after 10 years they had all but disintegrated. I picked up some new epdm from home depot and cut out new pieces. I'm curious if the regained air flow will help transmission temps going up CO mtns.

Spark plug change. I believe these are original with 85,200 miles. Plugs in cylinders 1-5 were gapped at 0.054, and 6-8 were gapped at 0.060. All look pretty uniform and I see no concerns. It was also a good excuse to buy a new tool; 5/8 spark plug socket with a swiveling extension. Made the removal of plugs 4 and 8 (near the firewall) very easy.

Wife's '96 XJ 2-door developed a substantial cowl leak. Two, actually, filling the passenger floor pan with over an inch of water during a good rain, and a small amount on the driver's side. After pulling the dash, it was easy to see where the water was getting in. Additionally, I had a nasty surprise with the heater switch. I had no idea this was happening!
