SYE yoke bolts are too long

I'm installing my new Tom Woods Rear CV driveshaft. I've got the 12pt 8mm bolts that shipped with the driveshaft as well as a set of bolts that came with the SYE kit. They are all identical and too long to install on the back side of the yoke. I mean, they are slightly too long to fit and slide in the holes between the yoke and housing of the SYE.
I can get them on there by pulling the yoke nut off, sliding it out on the output shaft and putting them in the holes before tightening the yoke bolt back - but that seems odd. I'd have to pull the yoke nut to get the bolts back out. I guess that isn't a huge deal aside from the fact that pulling the yoke will disturb the carefully RVT-ed yoke-bolt install.
It just seems like the instructions would have mentioned it.
I've got the Rugged Ridge Mega-short SYE kit and it installed painlessly up till this point.

Any thoughts guys?

The super short kits almost always requires the bolts to be in the yoke before it is installed.

Using 1.25" length bolts?
Have not had that issue with Advance or JB sye

Fuckwit, not the SYE, the SSSYE. Tera and copies require that you put the bolts in the yoke holes before you install the yoke on the output shaft, JB Conversions is the only one we've run into so far that doesn't.

You delusional californian tampon, Joe Biden has been giving you retard inspirations lately?
No and you're still a fuckwit because we aren't discussing a normal SYE. Try reading again and this time use your fucking English reading glasses.

You know why I like participating on forums? Because I like to be able to cut through the noise and settle disputes about things from a position of authority. Authority in the sense of being an expert, not like I have authority over anyone. ;) In the same vein, here's the answer:

You're going to have to remove the nut, slide the yoke out a little, put the bolts in place, then re-tighten the nut. We don't carry the Rugged Ridge kit but we do have the TeraFlex kit and as far as I can tell the RR kit is a knockoff of the TX kit. Or maybe even just a re-brand. Or maybe Tera is getting the kits from RR and rebranding them. Who knows? Looks to be the same design though. What is unique about the Teraflex kit, and I guess the RR kit as well, is that the output yoke doesn't butt against the output bearing as a yoke normally would. Instead is goes inside the inner race of the bearing. Because it sits so deeply inside the speedometer housing there is very little room between the yoke and the housing, not enough to get a bolt in there. You definitely need 1 1/4" long bolts though, using shorter bolts would result in inadequate engagement with the threaded part of the drive shaft.

On a JB Super Short SYE I believe that the yoke butts against the bearing. They seem to use a shorter/flatter speedometer housing. Though it's been a while since I had one of those in my hands to look at.

Just to make sure I really know what I think I know I unboxed a Teraflex kit, put the parts together, and tested the bolt. There's no way you're getting the bolts in there without putting them in the holes before you install the yoke onto the output shaft. See the photo below for reference.

As a side note, the bolts are actually SAE. 5/16 NF, 1 1/4" long. Similar to 8mm but if anyone reading this needs bolts for their drive shaft they are 5/16, not 8mm.
