What did you do to your TJ today?

Just picked up 6qts Napa conventional 10w30. They are running a monthly sale on it.

Over the weekend I got my Savvy body lift installed along with my M.O.R.E. MML. (No vibrations with this) I also got my Warn gas tank skid installed. And to top it off I finally put my Savvy Rock Sliders on!! Body matched the aluminum and rattle canned painted the steel sliders. I couldn't be happier.

Those sliders turned out nice! I'd like to get my hands on a set of those. Hopefully, someday they will be back in stock.

At last, this project is finally complete. Not pictured is the winch line I just spooled up in the dark. Motobilt stubby front bumper, color matched 0” flare highline fenders and aluminum inner fenders. A lot longer of a process than I intended with one complaint from the property managers for my makeshift paint booth, but it’s done now!

Got one of my GenRight half doors installed except for the door bag. Precursor to getting topless for the first time in 40 years.
How do you find the arm rest pad? It always looked to me to be too short because I sit with the seat all the way rearward.
I know, the flares are butt ugly to most but they do their job.
I think they look good for a stock replacement when running wider than stock tires.

I'll report when I get the driver's side done and drive it. I sit pretty close to the wheel at 5'10". Gotta be better than 1" of aluminum that's likely too short. Full door window frame is taller than I like.
Tomorrow won't be test drive day, 50mph gusts in the forecast.

One of few. I'm used to the look now. Have a JK buddy with skinny fenders and he's looking for better splatter coverage..looks ain't everything.

It's been 40 years since you've been topless. Your 1982 Jeep looks good. (1982-2022= 40 years)
p.s. I think that makes your Jeep a Scrambler. (the original LJ).
Naw, naw, naw.. 😂

My previous Jeep was a Kelly Green, 258, 4spd, '75 CJ 5 I bought in '76 with 5000 miles. Got rolled twice, once by a friend and the second time by me on an icy highway heading to a buddy's funeral in '82-3.
Had a 2 year old daughter and offloaded it after the second rollover. (I did take her from Butte to Seattle in it tho'). So haven't been topless since. Sold my '71 Honda CB750 too. I was a reckless SOB that decade, and beyond.
Now I'm a boring old man trying to live the stuff I loved forever.
