Magical brake pads

I defiantly agree. ;)
"Brake" vs "Break" is even worse than "Wench" vs "Winch"! At least with the latter, there's a meme for it!

Damn that seems like a big heavy trailer behind a wrangler!
Yes indeed. The TJ is rated to tow 2000 lbs, and my LJ is rated for 3500. It does pretty well on everything except braking. And crosswinds aren't much fun. But the little bit of extra length and weight of the LJ makes a surprising difference over the TJ.

You might be one of the few that can actually benefit from a touch more rear brake.

Yeah, with that trailer tongue keeping the rear end down. I have Centric Posi Quiet pads back there now, fine for a plain Wrangler but BMBs would be better for towing.

I'll be retrofitting brakes to the trailer if the parts ever come in. Hopefully I'll have the trailer brakes working before towing it again.

You can tighten up the spring pressure in the combo valve by adding a washer or two. That will direct more pressure to the rear brakes. But, that will suck when the trailer isn't on there.

What manufacture does Blaine purchase the pads from?
To steal (steel for Zorba) a little from Jim Croce…

You don't tug on superman's cape
You don't spit into the wind
You don't pull the mask off that old lone ranger
You don't mess around with Jim
And you never ask MrBlaine where he gets his brake pads….

I did the same after being disappointed with the OEMs and EBC Yellows.
I used EBC because they were the "best" before mrblaine showed me the way of the Wizard. His instructions are key to their great performance.
p.s. If anyone gets one on the BM darker gray hats and doesn't wear it, I will gladly buy it. My lighter gray one is showing it's age after 6 years or so. Sweat stains add character or so I tell people. I only DON'T wear a hat to court, jail, funerals and weddings. I try to avoid going to all of those events.

You know you don't have to actually pay for one of the dark grey hats, right? You know the drill.

What hats? What drill? I didn't get a sticker to put on my tool cabinet. I can stick the chapstick on my lips, but it doesn't stick to the tool cabinet very well.

Thank you once again! I just feel like a bum asking for free stuff that I actually use. Paying $120 a week in gas now for my self employed job is absolutely killing me. I refuse to sell this Jeep again.
