MaxBilt vs ORO LED taillights

I looked on Savvy’s site are the raw aluminum ones not ready to ship? I see the black ones as back orderable.
I haven't looked in a while now, but I would prefer black.
Thanks for sharing that link. Those aren't bad. Would run these any day instead of the copycat Metalcloak.
People dislike "square" (rounded rectangle) headlights and round tail lights and prefer the opposite. Think about that for a second

No, I ordered the raw ones and it took 4 weeks to get a refund.
I used to never question if I would get my stuff from Savvy - seems like they've taken not caring up a notch.
I always hated that the '70 Chevelle had quad round headlights and square tails, and my '72 had dual round headlights and quad round tails... I always wanted a '70 front on a '71/'72People dislike "square" (rounded rectangle) headlights and round tail lights and prefer the opposite. Think about that for a second
The amount of thought and planning that went into that jeep and the final execution will never cease to not amaze me. I notice more and more details each time photos get posted. This time my eyes caught the fuel cell and the rear frame/bumper area
I’ve run both the ORO and now the Maxbuilt tail lights. I got the first ORO set probably in 08’ they lasted about six or seven years however more than a few led lights had stopped working. I then went back to factory tail lights for a few years and then got a set of maxbuilt trail tail lights in like 2018. I had one of them stop working on the tail light circuit but the brake light still worked. I sent them a picture and had a replacement in my hands in about three days time. So the customer service and warranty is great. And I personally like the round look. Although those raw aluminum savvy lights would look great with my new raw aluminum corners.

I am being forced. FORCED, to go buy stuff farther down my priority list. Man, I really want to do my tummy tuck.
Last I had looked, I think the max bilt lights were out of stock. I'll have to go check on them again.

Did you get these? These are what I have. I think @Alex01 tipped me off to these. I think round look good. I also think stock flush look good.

ORO taillights came first. MaxBilt designed theirs after seeing the failing LEDs. Yes, the very first generation MaxBilt LEDs had some issues but were replaced for free. Those were over 10 years ago.
Yes, I own two sets of lights, TJ and LJ. The LJ has had trail tails for over 10 years. I also happen to live here where the MaxBilt shop is located, am friends with the owners and my both the TJ and LJ have spent time in their shop.
