The LS Swap Begins

So this one time...when it got over 100+ degrees in AZ and I was cruising around creepin' for some lunch...I popped a 35 amp fan fuse and almost overheated in the McDonalds drive thru line. :ROFLMAO: And then...I decided that I would just jump the wire over to the battery feed to get me home...it was less than 2 miles.

I burned up the fan. No for seriously. Smoked it. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA

So...I need a new radiator fan now. How many freakin' amps will this thing pull in high temps?!? Pretty sure it blew when I started it up in the garage after driving it for a bit and it getting a bit toasty out.

Did get the new muffler on...it sounds pretty...and then you get on it and it opens up as it should. :D

It's cool if you wanna dance in front of your rig. Only Zorba will complain about it being portrait vs landscape.

I had a 40 amp fuse on the Spal fan on my aluminum radiator and instead of blowing it fused together and burnt the wiring. Not a fun sight seeing smoke and flames flicker under the hood.

What is the fan rated for? How did you end up solving?

I promised some action shots. Here is one - this is post-exhaust install. 👍🏻😜

Also…remember kids, use thread locker on those pesky 5mm hex head bolts for your input shaft sleeve. When they come loose and fly around in your bellhousing, it may make you poop your pants while rowing through gears. 🤣

Now that is how a jeep should sound

What, no burnout video???

;)

Congrats on getting it running. Sounds great.
A buddy from work asked me roughly the same thing. LOL Yeah no...those tires are much too expensive for that, and the transmission is now under an expedited end of life span path with the new motor it's attached to...no need to speed it up any further. :)

So this one time…I went wheeling for the first time with the V8…and tested the travel of my suspension in relation to the new custom exhaust. 🤣🤣🤣

It’s currently under the knife and being fixed to correct the angle. 😎👍🏻
I'm interested to see how many surgeries it will take 😬
