My only issues are no rim protection and the labor intensity every time you change tires. If you’re only changing tires every 4 years I can see it. I change every year almost, so it turns me off. At this stage in my life I’m looking to simplify things, not complicate them, but I do agree Coyotes are cool.
I hadn't seen the Coyote system prior to this, but they seem similar to products used with good success by enduro and DH mountain bikers. They are a pain to install in bike tires so I'm sure that's true for Jeep tires. But, dual bead locks, lighter weight and ability to run on almost any rim sounds great! Also, I'd bet there is at least some degree of rim protection (from impacts perpendicular to the tire tread, at least). Bike rims survive amazingly well in the rocks at speed with these devices. Finally, with the run flat capability, you might be able to more safely ditch your spare in some situations. I may consider coyotes when I change rims.

Making good use of the mini skids!

Finished the Warn winch by water-sealing the motor housing. @Blackjack sent me some simple instructions, a snorkel bolt, some breather hose, and an o-ring. I picked up a universal small engine filter and put it all together. The breather hose routes into the engine bay and is zip tied next to the stock air box. I used RTV on the end cap and motor housing to waterproof.

I would have plumbed that right into the air box.

I gave an option in the kit instructions for a barb fitting and nut but I wonder if mentioning the barb bulkhead would have been a better choice. I probably should have let you take a look at them before I had the first batch printed.
I saw that as option A in your instructions. I didn’t quite understand at first glance and went on to option B which I readily understood. Maybe I should have taken a closer look or asked questions. Sometimes I just don’t want to bother people further because I already ask too many questions because I wasn’t raised around anything mechanical and sometimes need step by step. If somethings easier to me I’ll just go that way.

Depends on what is the cheapest. If I could find a barb bulkhead one side only that was the cheapest route, I'd go that way due to how expensive most regular bulkhead fittings are. It all works the same, I just like tidy connections when I can.

Do not be afraid to ask. I want the feedback as I am launching the kits in the next week or so and want to make sure I am providing the best information I can.

That is the one thing I need to work on more so I can offer options directly versus leaving the installer to have to source it.

I think a pic of the bulk head fitting would help. Similar to the pic of the universal fuel filter option. I’m at Lowe’s now standing at the bulk head fittings. 🤣

Just remember not everyone is going to be installing this in something stock. I'll do better to source my own parts for a breather since I don't have anything stock.

I saw this part of the trail today that I hadn’t seen and so I took off up this hillside. Got to the top and bogged down in the loose dirt. I was so close to that tree that I decided to winch our rather than try to back down which was precarious. Gave me an opportunity to try the winch in real life. All good!

Smart move, there’s no shame in winching.
Especially when I’m alone. This place is only about 5 minutes from my house, so I like to go over and fool around. I’d never seen that particular option on the trail, and the tracks only went part way up.
