*UPDATE: Thanks to LJ, I was made aware of an even better deal on three tool kit options.*
There are three kits that are cheaper at $269 for the 3/8 Impact, Grinder and Hackzall. Otherwise $299 for the other tool options is the best I've come across in this sale. Please read the entire post so you don't pay $30 more than you need to.

*Here's the links: ($269 smokin' deals have expired, although still on sale at $299)*

Original Post:
I was at Home Depot yesterday and they have a really good deal going on.

I bought two high output XC6.0 batteries w/ charger kit for $299 and got a free tool. I picked the 11 amp paddle style variable trigger grinder model# 2880-20. I wanted the 2886-20 flat head grinder but it wasn't one of the tools on the list, besides it costing $279 for the bare tool. The Milwaukee rep was there and after speaking with him, he said the battery kits will go quick, but he is a rep.

This deal is available online and in store.

I updated the original post as I've found three tool kits that are $269 for the same pieces included. Thanks LJ

Well crap, the cancelation "window" has closed on my order
Oh well, even at $299 it's still a good deal
I'll have to remember their numbers game and do more research next time before hitting add to cart

I’m sure you can return it.

You can return it. I bought the kit for $269 and now will take my original purchase back.
Even though $299 is a great deal, I wish I would have seen the $269 deal originally.

I ordered the kit with the 3/8 impact wrench. I add an additional $15 coupon. All in $305 shipped to the house.

THANKS FOR THE HEADS UP!

got lucky and cancelled my first order
That's good! I updated the original post to hopefully keep anyone from spending 30 bucks more than they need to. I bought mine in store and didn't see the $269 deal there, only the $299 deal. In fairness, there's hundreds of Milwaukee items to sift through on Home Depot's website and I obviously didn't see them. I'm always happy when someone can find a cheaper price but hate it when @voodooridr and anyone else has to jump through an extra hoop because they bought before I updated the post.

Thanks, flyinfish and LJ! I was looking to add some more high output batteries and another M18 grinder to my collection, and this deal was the best I've seen in a long time. Although, like flyinfish, I really wanted a flathead grinder (have one already, and it's very nice), but I got two batteries, a charger, and a second grinder for less than I paid for the flathead grinder a few weeks back!

Thanks for the heads up!

Ace hardware has the XC6.0 batteries for 249.99...so I got that and a grinder for 279, shipped to my door, after my 5.00 reward coupon.

Edit: I see the original deal posted included a charger. This deal does not...so good for someone who has chargers already.

Well Hell, I guess I just committed to start down the Milwaukee path of debt. My cordless drill is in need of replacement so I figured I would upgrade to the Milwaukee. I just bought drill, driver, grinder, 3/8 impact and a sh*t ton of batteries. I figured I would hold off on the 1/2 impact and hacksaw in order to give my kids something to buy me in the future (haha!).

Welcome to the club, another very expensive club.
