"Pacing myself" build

Ok, last words of wisdom from the crew. Focusing on the front now, my pinion angle is 7.8*. My drive shaft angle is 7.6*. Basically, all out flat parallel. Should I be striving for something else here? My caster angle is in the 4* range, so not much more I can fidget.

Theoretically 1* high on the pinion is where the driveshaft is the happiest but at that point you’ve lost so much caster it drives like poop anyways.

What about 5 x 5.5? Lol

How did it drive and how were the vibes when you aimed the front pinion at the output?

I don't think I've ever had the hard top this long since I've owned it. Front pinion angle change to 1.3* higher than DS netted no change. So, I've been dead flat parallel, 1-5* low, and now 1.3* high. Next is to pull the front DS and inspect everything. I suspect an issue with the TC input bearings.

After several small pinion angle adjustments made with no change, I removed the front DS to inspect it for anything obvious.
I couldn't find anything obvious except for the front ujoint. One of the caps felt slightly rougher than the other when turning the cap. I doubt this is the cause of the vibes, but rather a result of the vibes me thinks. I'll have my co-worker look it over, but for now I'm going to enjoy the weekend and play with the grand kids. The drive home with no front DS was drama free and smooth.

Maybe your Jeep identifies as a 2WD…you need to be more open minded.
