I’m in the middle of dropping an ls into my tj with a QuickDraw bellhousing to an ax15. Im just now realizing that the 4.0 and transmission tunnel are about an inch towards the passenger. What all did you do to line up your shifter? The Novak mounts don’t adjust left to right like the AA mounts… anyone see any issues with twisting the rear of the motor slightly passenger? I have an 8.8 to it would help that line up a bit too.

I just drilled my new trans mount holes centered with the original mount slots and it does twist the engine a bit but been driving for 4000miles that way with no problem. I used a trans tunnel cover plate from an 05-06 and it lined up pretty close to where my shifter ended up being.

Thanks for the reply

I am about to start the swap process into our 97 TJ. Did you have any other issues with the Novak motor mounts and QuickDraw bellhousing? Does your TJ have a body lift on it? I was leaning towards the Novak mounts because according to their website a body lift isn't needed.
