Blaine spent some time on an informative write up on springs (rates, DRH, preload, etc.). I was looking forward to the all the spring engineers’ contributions. Yet, it was crickets for a while and then, poof, it’s now gone. What happened?

Because my question was more to the forum on why no challenge on a thread specifically calling out the claims made by many that bog so many other threads down.
The forum on average seems to prefer to socialize on other threads discussing less challenging (as in technically) topics. The people that bog the other threads down do not (cannot?) seem to want to engage in the educational threads like the one Blaine started. It's baffling.
I can tell you why it disappeared, but I suspect Blaine will be along shortly to explain. Same reason build thread disappeared I suspect.

Didn't see the thread, he has blocked me. He doesn't want a discussion, he wants to preach. He likely realized the thread would have other people expressing opinions and jumped ship.
You are wrong on every count above. And you aren't the first person to think this way.
I know you are likely going to disagree with me .. I won't try to change your mind but just remember one thing - facts aren't opinions, even if you don't like who is stating them.

I’m closing it now. I already knew the answer before @taylormade73 even posted this.
If people want to have meaningful discussions with Blaine they need to engage with him. If he posts threads like that and people respond with, “What wheels are those?” (just as an example), he’s going to delete the thread.
Now that everyone know this, maybe next time he wants to have a meaningful discussion people will engage
