Well with the LJ being a more rare model I'd think I wouldn't want to "WHEEL" it as much or as hard as the TJ.

Of course I'm the guy who would take a NEW rig off-roading even before the first payment hits the bank.... I got my first dent in my TJ that way. Caved in the drivers door pretty good.

Haha don't want to dent either of them! :ROFLMAO:

Time for my annual check in. Finally have a life that is calming.

Selling off other projects to make room for.. more projects. 98-06' projects to be specific..
(and I know I skipped a year. 97's aren't for me lol)

Glad to hear you're still kicking around.

What are you looking for? I've been window shopping...

Unfortunately my Rubihara prospect dried up when my ex moved out (her friends, not mine). Now I'm just peeking around. I've got one last '86 Ford that should be departing in the coming months. I'm missing the wrenching and control arm debates. Just kinda peeking around for another TJ, something I won't be as attached to so I can cut into it and wheel it more. GF wants one too so maybe I'll be shopping for a few haha!

Glad to see you're still here too bud!

Auto or manual? There are a few interesting ones I've seen in the area.

Welcome back, ol' buddy!

This one is beggin for a engine swap. Either they did a large hub kit on the front axle or?

At current prices this isn't a bad deal. What is sad is that I paid less than this for a 5 year old TJ,

Both a hart top & soft top with this one.

Good price and looks pretty stock.

If you’re still looking for an LJ, here’s one decently priced in the area:

I bet if you plopped 10k cash in front him, he would be hard pressed to not take it.

You’d have to remove the angry grill and other poser mods. But at least you know for certain they never took it offroad!

Welcome back!!
My wife….er……ex wife as of recent just moved out recently as well. I’m finding out that I really could afford some of the I’ve wanted to get. It doesn’t totally suck!👍

Been there done that a FEW times... Me & @Squatch are the divorce experts here... Between the two of us we've had 8+ wives. He got lucky & found a keeper.

I'm still doing the catch & release program... Funny how once you're single you find out that you really did have the money to do some of the things you'd wanted.

But to be fair, when we got married my credit score was in the 600’s and now it’s in the 800’s
We still get along, wasn’t a bitter divorce or anything like that at all, and I still get to pick up our son everyday, then he hangs out at my house for a couple hours before I take him to hers. Heck, she comes over every Tuesday for family taco Tuesday since it’s our sons favorite meal.

Man I'd glad for you.... All of mine have been the opposite. I was in the mid 700's and when I got divorced I was in the mid 500's. Recovered some what from it but it sure SUCKS....

I've never been lucky enough to have a good divorce. But I'm a real asshole so they were all bitter and hated me.

Now back on track. We need to find @Vasq a new project rig.

Do you want/need a running unit? Any interest in doing a Magnum/Hemi/LS swap?

Seen a few with 4 poppers in them for a lot less but they needed a engine/drivetrain swap.

I don't know if I'm predisposed at this time. Good catches? Never hurts to look right 😁

How about a '00 (federal emissions) it's got some bumps and bruises but nothing terrible. Mechanically it's sound, brakes have been redone, fluids all maintained, axle seals and bearings on the rear 44 done 2 years ago. It started life as a Sahara.
Half doors not included.. New hood, loaded grill, and another tailgate, would go with it.

Good starting place... Dana 44 rear makes it desirable. Armor can cover most of the dings and dimples.

If you need transportation for it I'll offer my trailer.
