Looks like the Rubi third brake light is a different part number.

Does anyone know if it is easy to spot the difference when shopping for a used one or do they look the exact same unless you have a measuring tape?

I'm guessing it just sticks up an inch higher but maybe there is an easy way to tell.

I picked up some Rubicon Moab wheels and need to search out a matching brake light if I decide to run them with the 245/75R15s. Thanks.

The Rubicon's 31" tire only sticks up 1/2" taller which is easily accommodated by the standard 3rd brake light bracket. I ran 32" tires under it no problem and only raised it with spacers for 33" tires.

Good to know! Maybe Jeep came up with a different one to comply with standards for visibility from different heights or angles or something.

My 2005 Unlimited NON-Rubi has the identical bracket, with the same numbers. Mine didn't have those "feet" though.
