Just installed GenRight highline fenders

Ahh...for the new build. For some reason, I thought the blue one had the highline...Even though its obvious in the ROTM theme that it is not...

It was a long day today, LOL

Yep, good ole metalcloaks on the blue one.

I did mine about two months ago now on a brand new hood. I actually have a buddy doing my original now we are rolling the edge under for a more original look and to add strength. The hood pin holes were more nerve wracking for me actually then cutting the sides off.

Agree. The edges took longer but I definitely did more measuring for the hood pins to make sure they looked l even.

Just put the aluminum highline genright fenders on my jeep and I love them. I know my jeep isn't anything special, just excited about the upgrade. Ill answer any questions about the install.

After awhile you begin looking at the backend and start thinking  um the front looks so much nicer than the rear. Trust me I know, then will come the Alum rear corners and fenders :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I used a cut off wheel for mine. I didn’t remove the hood, I installed the fenders and made a mark on the grill and on the side of the cowl where the top lines up. Removed the fenders and put the hood back down and ran a line connecting those two points. Taped it off with some painters tape and went to town. Did the main cut with a a cutoff wheel then smoothed it in with a flap wheel.

I'm getting ready to do the same thing, did you record any of your process? Youtube by chance?

Tre3top got the ban hammer! You wont hear from him.

I installed a fender on one side, then made a cut and kept lifting/closing the hood til I got it close to where it needed to be. Then repeated the process on the other side. My hood isn't perfect though. On the passenger side I could probably trim another 1/8" or so. I put the rubber snubbers back on the fenders afterwards but the passenger side fell off so the hood edge actually makes contact on top of the fender. You can see the rub/scratch marks.
