Barnett Diff Covers

Just called to see about the Barnett and they are out again, took my info and said they will be producing based on demand... shrug.

My previous Barnett/T&J cover looked pretty much like that one. An awesome cover, it was the best design so far as I am concerned.

You need to hang out in my driveway more. I just gave one to one of the fucktards.

If only the commute was a bit shorter from Seattle :D ... been trying to get one for months, the guys at barns take my call, take my number, and say "shrug, we don't know when"...

If only I could find one to buy :/

I'm sure sure there's more than a few of us who have been waiting for one. I've been checking, and calling, for over a year now. Two features that I really like about this cover are it maximizes track bar clearance and the lower cover bolts are shielded. I keep chewing through the bottom three. :(

I ordered (put my name on a waiting list) in late January 2022, called once a month, and received them at the end of April 2022.

It seems like better time invested to find OEM Dana 44 covers and get them sent to T&J. Mine took 5 weeks last year, but I intend to send out my old OEM covers to get worked up since at the time I wasn't aware of this option.

I considered that option. About the time I was getting impatient, I started doing the research. I don't believe any Dana 44 cover used by Jeep was the right one - they're too thin, and the fill hole is too low. I was going to go to a bone-yard and pull two. The ones T and J uses were used on Ram pickups, I believe. I didn't complete the research because I got a call that they were fulfilling my order right about that time. The two covers I received were different. One had the stampings on it like the Dana/Spicer site shows, but the other did not. It was a bit thicker and had a different fill plug.

I've rewelded mine a couple of times now. I have three or four of the covers laying around the shop...I was considering trying to build one or two for fun, but my Jeep life right now is FULL lol.

Good to know! I have two of the ram covers :)

I have a couple JK Dana 44 covers that I'm eventually going to get around to modifying. I figure I'll just plug the old fill hole, weld a reinforcement in, and tap a new one...I have a 3/4 npt tap left over from my boating days (exhaust manifold water jackets)
