I ran off my 500 break-in miles and changed my fluids. Was feeling excited and ready to get out there on a trail. Yesterday, it started bucking like a bronco and threw out the P0122 and P0123 codes. I just changed the TPS less than 1k miles ago because it failed. I'll have to investigate but I'm having trouble believing that a genuine Mopar part failed that quickly.

Ok so my memory was incorrect. I replace the IAC not the TPS. The TPS is bad. However, the torx screws holding the TPS have been in so long I can't get them out. I've already destroyed the heads. I'm running out of ideas.

I squared off the bolts with a small grinder so I could get at them with proper grip and leverage. After some squeaking and creeking they came out. They have a lot of loctite for a simple sensor. I ordered a genuine Mopar part since it comes with new screws. Taking back my echlin sensor since it didn't have them and was only a few bucks cheaper. I couldn't find the screws individually.

For future reference, since you've already solved this problem, another method would be to cut a slot for using a large flat head.

Any particular reason for changing cables and what size did you go with?

The PO had some corrosion issues and cut some of the wires short making them difficult to work with. They also didn't solve the problem as the corrosion was working it's way down the cables making them brittle. Now that the old stuff is out I'm realizing just how bad they were. Even the alternator lead has cracked insulation. I went with 2GA to upsize them in case I have future needs. This kit also has a nice fuse block which makes expansion easier.
